He is passionate in contributing to the accounting community and has been serving in the following honorable positions:

• 2001-2016, council member of The Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) Hong Kong Branch (Chairman in 2007-2016)

• 2005-2015, council member of The Hong Kong Accounting Professionals Association

• 2015-current, council member of The Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors 

Tanny started to learn photo shooting in 2015 by attending classes, having photo exercises locally and joining photo trips in balancing his busy work life. Not only enjoying photo shooting, he was inspired to see things from different angles.
